The e²60 receives german DIBt approval
On 24 September 2021, our e²60 officially received its approval from the DIBt, the Institute for Building Technology in Germany.
This approval means that the usability, or applicability of the e²60 in terms of the state building regulations has been proven, and can be installed absolutely harmlessly in terms of safety, flammability and suitability. "In Germany in particular, such an abZ is required by building law in addition to compliance with various other directives and regulations, but other European countries also use the approvals for their proof of usability," explains Michael Merscher, Technical Manager and member of the management of LUNOS Lüftungstechnik GmbH.
The e²60 is one of the smallest decentralised fans with heat recovery in residential ventilation and achieves best values in sound insulation with a standard sound level difference of up to 67 dB. The e²60 is pressure-optimised and thus ensures a constant volume flow even in areas with very high back pressures. The unit meets the new requirements for wind pressure stability according to EN 13141-8 and is the first unit of its type to achieve class S1.
